KRISTEN TABOR

DRIVER, TABOR RACING TEAM

I have been competing in stage rally racing since 1998, first as a co-driver and then as a driver starting in 2001. My co-driver is my mom, who has been in the car with me since our first event. We’ve competed every year since then (barring COVID-cancellations), and plan to continue racing until it’s no longer fun! Our racing goals include finishing, having fun, learning, having fun, and finishing. We have raced in a variety of cars, including a 1995 Geo Metro with a 1L engine and 2WD; 1991 Nissan Sentra SE-R 2L, 2wd; 1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS (2.5L naturally aspirated motor, AWD) ; 2001 Acura Integra RSX type S (2wd); and our latest race car, 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX 2L turbo (AWD). We enjoy being ambassadors to the sport with people of all ages, with special focus on girls and woman who are interested in racing.
