Athena Racing is important to me because they are providing several opportunities to help me and other girls in STEM achieve our goals.

I love how we get to meet several people and learn the proper way to communicate with them. From personal experience, I was never told exactly the proper way to communicate professionally with adults. I was only ever told to “be confident” and “stand up straight”. But as Athenian spokeswomen, we are given step by step instruction and guidance on how to properly approach someone.

My dream is to receive training and mentorship from several companies involved in motorsports so that I could learn what sponsors are looking for and the best way to approach them. I hope to learn how a professional team operates socially, and professionally. This will give me an idea of what aspect of racing I want to pursue. I am also interested in pursuing graphic design as it relates to the racing industry – a combination of the two things I love the most!
