CANDICE WILLETT

LEAD DESIGNER CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & LIGHTING, CADILLAC

Candice Willett is the lead designer for Choreographed Experiences and Lighting at Cadillac. In her role, she works with Cadillac’s advanced engineering and design groups to identify technologies for the brand and uses them to curate a cohesive customer experience. 

Her most recent project was the Cadillac LYRIQ, where she was able to use used features like a choreographed lit grille and true vertical lighting signatures to create a welcome experience for customers as they approach and enter the vehicle. 

When Willett joined the Cadillac Design studio 10 years ago,

she started the Cadillac lighting studio with only one other colleague. Today, she leads lighting strategy for the Cadillac brand. 

Prior to her role at Cadillac, Willett worked as a GM contract employee at the Hummer brand and at Little Tykes on the Boys’ Toy Line. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design with a Transportation focus from the Cleveland Institute of Arts in 2003.
